Tina Lewis is the Director of Human Resources at Dakkota Integrated Systems where she is responsible for labor relations, as well as ensuring that the company’s vision and culture programs are developed and tracked. Company-wide, she reviews, develops and advises on areas including legal, governmental and employee issues, employee policies and procedures, 401k compliance, compensation, and health insurance and benefit programs.
A long-term Dakkota employee who joined the company in 2005, Tina was previously part of the launch team and human resources manager at Dakkota’s Louisville facilities. With over 30 years in the automotive manufacturing, assembly and technical industry, her previous roles include human resources manager, administrative services manager and controller with Dana Corporation.
Tina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Heidelberg College and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University. A member of the Society of Human Resource Management, she received leadership training certification from Dana University and Greater Louisville Inc. and also holds a green belt in six sigma quality certification.
In addition to her work with Dakkota, Tina mentors middle and high school students through various organizations such as FIRST Robotics and FIRST Lego League and helps students prepare for life after high school by teaching resume writing and holding mock interviews.
