Lee Burbery is a highly experienced professional in environmental science with a focus on water quality and groundwater research. Currently serving as a Senior Water Quality Scientist at DairyNZ since August 2021, Lee also holds the position of Senior Scientist at the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Ltd (ESR) since 2012. Previous roles include Groundwater Research Scientist at Lincoln Ventures, Ltd. (2010-2012), Hydrogeologist (III) at Canterbury Regional Council (2008-2010), and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Groundwater at Lincoln Ventures Ltd (2005-2008). Early in the career, Lee worked as an Environmental Consultant at Aracdis Geraghty & Miller International, Inc. (1996-2000). Academic credentials include a PhD in Environmental Science and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, both obtained from Lancaster University.
