Daniel VanMeter is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in security operations and threat response. Currently serving as the Director of Security Operations at Dairy Farmers of America since June 2023, Daniel previously held the position of Manager of Detection and Response at Zocdoc from May 2022 to June 2023. Daniel's extensive experience includes a decade as Senior Manager SOC and Lead Cybersecurity Architect at Cerner Corporation, and an established foundation in information security as an Information Security Specialist at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Additionally, Daniel began a career in technology as a Computer Specialist at Cornerstone Health Services Group and served in the US Army as a Patient Administrator and Combat Medic early in the 1990s.
