Xiao Zhang is an accomplished automotive designer with extensive experience in interior and exterior design across various leading companies in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Automotive Designer at Daimler Truck North America since March 2023, Xiao previously held roles at Ford Motor Company, where significant contributions included the interior design of the Lincoln Zephyr 2022 and advanced electric vehicle interiors. Prior experience includes senior interior design roles at Faraday Future, specializing in the FF91 and FF81 models, and working on the 21C hypercar at Czinger Vehicles. Early career positions included interior design at Nissan Motor Corporation, innovative concept development at Bang & Olufsen, and industrial design focused on production seating at Johnson Controls. Xiao holds a Bachelor of Science in Transportation Design from ArtCenter College of Design and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Product Design from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
