Peter Hupfield serves as Vice President of Application Development at Daikin Chemical Europe GmbH since April 2021 and is also the Deputy General Manager of the Chemicals Division at Daikin Industries, Ltd. since August 2018. Prior to these roles, Peter worked at DOW CORNING from October 1990 to March 2016, holding the positions of Associate Development Scientist and Senior S&T Manager within the Specialty Chemicals Business - Innovation Accelerator. Peter holds a PhD in Organosilicon Chemistry from Cardiff University, obtained between 1987 and 1990, and a Bachelorā€™s degree in Chemistry (Hons) with a focus on Physical, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry from the University of South Wales, earned from 1984 to 1987.
