Lorenzo Gobbi is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in CFD, numerical simulation, and aerodynamics. Currently serving as the MDM & Simulation Manager at DAB Pumps since January 2013, Lorenzo oversees the Master Data Team and Numerical Simulation Group while managing regulatory affairs. Previously held roles include Group CFD/FEA Engineer Supervisor and Design Engineer - CFD analyst, where responsibilities encompassed people management, activity planning, and performance analysis. Lorenzo's career began at Scuderia Toro Rosso as an Aerodynamic Engineer - CFD R&D, focusing on enhancing F1 racing car performance. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an Executive Course in Innovation Management and R&D from CUOA Business School, complemented by ongoing professional development in specialized engineering fields.
