Gayan Manage has a diverse work experience. Gayan is currently working as a Senior SQL Developer at Daasity since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Altria Consulting (Pvt) Ltd, where they held multiple roles. Gayan started as a Trainee Associate Consultant in July 2018 and then progressed to become an Associate Consultant from February 2019 to August 2021. Their final position at Altria Consulting was as a Senior Engineer from August 2021 to January 2022. Prior to that, Gayan was a Member at Stat Circle from an unknown date until February 2019. Gayan was also a Member at Rotaract Club of University of Colombo from February 2015 to February 2019. In addition, they served as the Vice President of SAIFA - University of Colombo from March 2016 to March 2017.

Gayan Manage attended President's College in Srilanka from 2003 to 2011, where they studied Mathematics. From 2009 to 2011, they also attended the Institute for Data Management in Srilanka, where they focused on PC Assembling and Networking. In 2014, they enrolled at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants to study Accounting and Business/Management, but the end year for this program is not specified. Finally, from 2015 to 2018, Gayan Manage studied Statistics at the University of Colombo, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Tableau Essential Training from LinkedIn in March 2023.
