John Xing is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in engineering and security solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at D3 Security since January 2021, John has significantly optimized incident triaging and standardization of incident response workflows through the integration of SOC tools and development of automated playbooks. John has a demonstrated history of presenting enterprise-level security solutions to Fortune 1000 clients, providing project management for complex contracts, and consulting on security posture and compliance frameworks. Previous roles include Technical Specialist at ICBC, where John developed performance monitoring systems using Splunk, and Middleware Platforms Administrator, along with two earlier positions focused on database administration and technical support. John holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in System Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
