Clarke Hercules has extensive work experience in various roles related to audit and financial management. Clarke started their career at Citi as a Loss Mitigation Specialist from 1996 to 1999. Clarke then moved on to KPMG, where they worked as a Financial Auditor from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they joined Textron as a Senior Internal Auditor from 2003 to 2005. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Internal Audit at DR Horton, a role they have been in since 2005.

Clarke Hercules holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, which were obtained from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University, completed from 1992 to 1996. Clarke Hercules is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), acquired from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2007.
