Ben Herndon has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the sports industry. In 2015, they worked as a Full-time Marketing and Sales Intern for the Chesapeake Bayhawks, where they were responsible for sales calls and customer service at home games. In 2016, they served as a Scouting Intern for the University of Alabama at Birmingham Football team, managing membership renewals and creating schedules for JUCO players. Ben also gained experience as a Hospitality Intern at the Master's Tournament. In 2017, they worked as a Sales Trainee at the MLS National Sales Center before moving on to become a Senior Account Executive and eventually the Manager of Membership Services at D.C. United. At D.C. United, they handled membership services and account management. Additionally, in 2017, they interned as an Operations Intern at Bruno Event Team, where they assisted in setting up golf tournaments and managing ticketing processes. Overall, Ben Herndon has developed a strong background in sales, marketing, operations, and customer service within the sports industry.
