Melissa Pirro, PHR has extensive experience in human resources and management. Melissa is currently working at Cyware as a Senior Human Resources Manager since December 2022. Before joining Cyware, Melissa worked at Barbarian as a People + Culture Generalist from April 2021 to October 2021. Melissa'searlier experience includes a role as a Human Resources & Marketing Manager at Venture Back Office, where they managed various HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations from January 2014 to April 2021. Melissa also served as a Data Entry Supervisor at ClearVision Optical, overseeing a team of 10 employees and managing correspondence with international staff from September 2002 to February 2005. Melissa began their career as an Enrollments Representative at Healthplex Insurance from June 2001 to September 2002.

Melissa Pirro, PHR, has a diverse educational background in various fields. From 2010 to 2016, they attended Wake Technical Community College, where they pursued studies in Advertising and Graphic Design. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they studied Liberal Arts Studies at Nassau Community College.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa has also obtained certifications to further enhance their professional skills. In October 2019, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
