Michael Winter has work experience in various roles at different companies. Michael started their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where they conducted research on heme protein engineering and structure-function studies. Michael then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on protease substrate profiling in oncology, immunology, and infectious disease. Currently, they are an Associate Director at CytomX Therapeutics, leading a group dedicated to advancing a novel therapeutic platform called Probody Therapeutics. Michael'swork involves preclinical pipeline and partnered programs aimed at improving the efficacy and safety of biologics in tumor microenvironments.
Michael Winter completed their education with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Chemistry (Honors) and Religion from Kalamazoo College, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
