Joshua Millet has a strong background in biotherapeutics and protein research. Joshua started their career at Fornia BioSolutions, Inc. in 2018, where they worked as a Research Assistant I-II. During this time, they completed two evolution projects resulting in patented proteins and developed high-throughput assays for screening mutants and characterizing variants. In 2022, they joined Codexis, Inc. as a Research Associate III. Here, they focused on biotherapeutics lead discovery, characterized protein activity and stability, identified evolution candidates, and optimized protein production and purification methods. In 2023, they moved on to CytomX Therapeutics, where they currently hold the position of Senior Research Associate.
Joshua Millet earned their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Python for Data Science from edX in August 2021, and in Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX in February 2020.
