Stefan Engst is a seasoned scientist with over two decades of experience in the biotechnology field. Currently serving as Principal Scientist in Discovery Biology at Cytokinetics since June 2010, Stefan has played a pivotal role in advancing scientific research. Prior to this, Stefan held the position of Associate Director of New Lead Discovery at Exelixis Inc. from 1999 to 2010, where progression through various roles as Scientist I, II, and Senior Scientist was achieved. Additionally, Stefan provided advisory support to biotech startups at OneStart from January 2015 to 2016, contributing valuable insights to emerging entrepreneurs. Stefan's academic background includes education from UCSF and the University of Constance in Germany.
