Tiffany Hood is a Doctoral Candidate at UCL in the Department of Biochemical Engineering, focusing on the adaptive manufacturing of CAR-T cell therapies with a projected completion date of December 2022. Tiffany's research involves optimizing critical process parameters for CAR-T expansion in stirred tank perfusion bioreactors, in collaboration with Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In addition to academic pursuits, Tiffany serves as a Commercial Intern at Ori Biotech, evaluating customer leads and assessing market risks. Previous experience includes engineering roles at MilliporeSigma in the Cell Therapy Bioprocessing Group, as well as research internships at prestigious institutions including the Bioelectronics Group at MIT and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Tiffany holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has conducted extensive research throughout various internships, contributing to advancements in biomedical applications.
