Ross Turmell has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Ross started their career at Baxter BioScience as a Manufacturing Associate III, where they operated large scale Bioreactors and served as a GMP Representative. Ross then moved on to Amgen, first as an Associate Engineer, where they administered various systems and specialized in purification and cell culture systems. At Amgen, they also worked as a Senior Associate, becoming a Subject Matter Expert for High Flow Dilution Skids and Automated Equipment and training staff in production equipment and GMP procedures. Later, they joined Pall Life Sciences as a Principal Scientist, troubleshooting filtration and processing issues and creating successful strategies for drug and therapeutics production. Currently, Ross Turmell is a Principal Scientist at Cytiva, where they continue to troubleshoot filtration, system, and processing issues and provides training in processing systems and GMP guidelines. Ross also performs filterability trials, integrity testing, and process training across major biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
Ross Turmell attended California State University-Northridge from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
