Keith Silliman has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy sector. Keith is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at the Alliance for Clean Energy - New York since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Cypress Creek Renewables as the Director of Regulatory Compliance, where they were responsible for understanding and providing guidance on regulatory requirements and managing large-scale solar development projects in Upstate New York. Before joining Cypress Creek Renewables, Keith worked as a Regulatory Permitting and Compliance Consultant in the field of renewable energy project development and environmental permitting from January 2009 to February 2020. Keith also has experience in planning board counsel and deputy town attorney roles at the Town of Bethlehem from January 2000 to January 2012. Additionally, Keith has served as a Project Manager - Development at Brookfield Renewable Power and as the Niagara Power Project Relicensing Director at the New York Power Authority. Keith began their career as an Assistant Counsel for Energy at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Keith Silliman has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Syracuse University College of Law. Keith also holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from the University at Albany, SUNY, where they pursued a double major in English and Political Science.
