Heiko Laufenberg has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Starting from 2023, they are currently the Head of Supply Chain and Procurement at cylib, where they are responsible for implementing innovative and sustainable technology for Lithium-ion Battery recycling. Prior to this, they worked at Signode as the Strategic Sourcing Metals EMEA from 2019 to 2023. Heiko also served as the Head of Procurement (Interim) at Heinrich Wassermann GmbH & Co. KG from April 2019 to November 2019. Before that, they worked at CITOVA GmbH as the COO (Interim) from April 2018 to March 2019. Heiko has also held key roles at Illinois Tool Works (ITW), where they served as the Global Commodity Director, Strategic Sourcing from February 2016 to March 2018 and as the Director Strategic Sourcing Europe - Direct Materials from January 2011 to January 2016. Heiko started their career as a Lead Buyer at Demag Cranes & Components from October 2005 to January 2011. Additionally, they gained experience as a Consultant at INVERTO AG from September 2002 to September 2005 and as a Project Manager at Nunet AG from March 2002 to August 2002. Heiko Laufenberg also founded and managed All InSite GmbH from September 1999 to February 2002. Heiko'scareer began as a Bankkaufmann at Stadtsparkasse Köln from September 1991 to February 1994.

Heiko Laufenberg pursued their education in Betriebswirtschaft, or business administration. Heiko'sfirst educational experience was between 1994 and 1999 at the University of Cologne, where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Following this, between 2006 and 2009, they attended RFH Cologne and obtained a Diplom Kfm., or diploma in business administration.
