Makarand Vyas has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Makarand has held various roles in supply chain management throughout their career.

Starting in 1991, Vyas worked as a Projects Engineer and later as a Projects Executive at Transpek Industry Ltd. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as an Industrial Engineer at General Motors.

In 1998, Vyas joined Hutchinson Technology Incorporated, where they served as a Sr. Engineer in Corporate Planning and later became the Manager of Supply Chain Projects, Corporate Planning Industrial Engineering & Corporate Logistics. Makarand worked at Hutchinson Technology Incorporated until 2010.

In 2010, Vyas started working at Jabil as the Medical Sector Planning Manager: Advanced Supply Chain Planning. Makarand went on to hold roles such as Sr. Manager: Advanced Planning Supply Chain and Director: Supply Chain Planning - Nypro Healthcare. During this time, Jabil changed its name to Jabil Healthcare.

In 2015, Vyas joined Nypro, now known as Jabil Healthcare, as the Director of Supply Chain. Makarand later became the Sr. Director of Supply Chain before ultimately transitioning to their current role as the VP & Head of Supply Chain Management at Cyient DLM Limited in 2023.

Makarand Vyas holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Makarand then pursued a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University from 1996 to 1998. Lastly, they completed their MBA in Finance from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota from 2006 to 2009.
