Sarah Mitchell currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cycling UK since October 2020. Mitchell has held various notable positions, including Visiting Lecturer at the Centre for Charity Effectiveness at Bayes Business School from May 2022 to December 2023, and Vice Chair and trustee of The Nationwide Foundation from November 2013 to December 2023. Previous roles include Director/CEO at The Heart of the City, CEO of Carers Network, Chair of the Board of Directors at Camden Federation of Private Tenants, Head of Housing at Crisis, Assistant Director at the UK Civil Service, and Community Projects Manager at Westway Development Trust. Mitchell holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Oxford, completed in 1996.
