Christopher Benedikt Pilscheur

Christopher Benedikt Pilscheur has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Christopher Benedikt is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Soraytec, where they have been since September 2015. Christopher Benedikt is also a Co-Founder of CYCLED TECHNOLOGIES AS since January 2016.

Prior to these ventures, Pilscheur served as the Managing Director of Soraytec Middle East Limited, an engineering consultation company specializing in clean tech and environmental projects. Christopher Benedikt worked there from February 2014 to present. Their responsibilities included market research, strategy development, technical assessment, and project design/development for off-grid solar, wind, and energy storage technologies. Christopher Benedikt worked with clients such as Innovation Norway, Green Business Norway, and Nordic Innovation.

Before joining Soraytec Middle East Limited, Pilscheur was a Research Engineer at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology from August 2011 to January 2014. Christopher Benedikt also worked as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE from May 2010 to May 2011.

Pilscheur's early experience includes working as a Technician at Ray Technologies International (RTI) from March 2007 to December 2007.

Christopher Benedikt Pilscheur has a strong educational background in both Materials Science and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Christopher Benedikt completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Materials Science from the Masdar Institute for Science and Technology, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Engineer (Dipl.-Ing. FH) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued their studies from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they also participated in the Free Electrons Program and was awarded the certification of "Free Electrons Participant" in March 2020.
