Ilir Haskuka has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Ilir began their career at Lektron Ltd as a Test Engineer in 1990 and worked there until 1996. Following that, they joined BSI as a Senior Project Engineer from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they moved to Nemko and served as a Senior Project Engineer until 2002. Ilir then joined UL in 2002, starting as a Senior Project Engineer and later becoming a Conformity Assessment Manager for the Denmark office. From 2007 to 2015, they held the position of Director of Engineering and Operations, overseeing European and Latin American offices. In this role, they managed high-performing engineering teams and developed regional strategies for the company. From 2015 to 2018, Ilir was the Strategy Director at UL, where they were responsible for global business unit accountability, strategy development, and mergers and acquisitions. Their most recent position is as the Director of Compliance & Systems at CYBEX since February 2020. Overall, Ilir has demonstrated expertise in business development, operations management, strategy, and compliance throughout their career.

Ilir Haskuka obtained a Certificate from Yale University Business School of Management (with UL) in New Haven, Connecticut, USA in the year 2013. Earlier, in 2008, they participated in a program with Underwriter's Laboratories and Northwestern University, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In 1988, Ilir attended the Technical College Prizren in Kosovo, where they pursued Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Ilir has also obtained additional certifications such as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Diploma from the Centre of Excellence Online Ltd in March 2019, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Underwriter Laboratories in November 2008.
