Vikram Phatak has a diverse and extensive work experience in the cybersecurity industry. Vikram currently serves as the Chairman & CEO of CyberRatings.org, a non-profit organization offering a wide range of independent services to the cybersecurity community. Vikram is also the Chief Executive Officer of Mod Cyber.

Before their current roles, Phatak founded NSS Labs in 2007 and held various positions within the company, including Founder, CEO, and CTO. Vikram was instrumental in leading the company until October 2020. Prior to NSS Labs, they worked as the CTO of AmbironTrustwave in 2006 and Lucid Security from 2001 to 2006.

Phatak has also worked in Teleflex Inc. as the Global Director of Network Infrastructure & Security from 1999 to 2000 and served as the President of Intermedia Sciences Group (netnow.net) from 1995 to 1999.

Vikram Phatak began their education in 1989 at UCLA, where they pursued their studies for two years. Vikram then enrolled at the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 1991, focusing on economics. Vikram completed their studies at this institution in 1995.
