Joshua Puentes has worked as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst at Cyberint since June 2022. Prior to that, they were an Information Technology Specialist at United States Army Human Resources Command from April 2020 to May 2022. Joshua also worked as a Cyber Threat Analyst at Intelligent Shield from April 2019 to September 2019. Additionally, they served as an AVIP Cyber Security and Compliance employee at USAFRICOM for a brief period in June 2017.

Joshua Puentes obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networks and Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at Northern Kentucky University from 2023 to 2024. Joshua also obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in December 2019.
