Douglas Reid is currently the Equipment Manager at CYBERHAWK Innovations. Douglas has previously worked as an Electrical and Avionic Systems Engineering Trade Manager for the Royal Air Force from November 2007 to August 2014, and as an Aircraft Electrical Technician from February 2000 to November 2006. In their current position, Douglas is responsible for managing a team of 15 technicians and ensuring the serviceability of electrical and avionic systems on 15 Typhoon aircraft. Douglas is also responsible for coaching, mentoring, and assessing their team, as well as applying disciplinary procedures when necessary.

Douglas Reid attended the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering, Carnegie College, and Dunfermline High School. Douglas received certification from the RAF in Aircraft Avionics Technician Training, SEMTA in Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (Aviation Engineering), Edexcel in BTEC National Certificate in Engineering, and City and Guilds in NVQ Level 3 Aircraft/Component Maintenance.
