Zhimao Liu has a range of work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Software Developer Intern at Epic for three months. In 2017, they embarked on a Software Engineer Internship at Facebook, lasting for three months as well. Next, from 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Head of Engineering at DLive. Zhimao then transitioned to a Software Engineer role at Google in 2020 before eventually becoming a Co-Founder at CyberConnect in March 2021.

Zhimao Liu pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they studied Computer Science at UC San Diego. Subsequently, Zhimao obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, where they studied from 2016 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they also received certification as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator from the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) in December 2018.
