John Hurst has a diverse work experience in the logistics industry. John is currently serving as the President of CWI Logistics. Prior to this position, they held the role of Vice President at CWI Logistics from January 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining CWI Logistics, John was the Principal of JW Hurst Group, LLC from September 2019 to December 2020.

John also worked at ID Logistics (formerly Kane Logistics) as the Senior Vice President/COO from June 2015 to July 2019.

Prior to ID Logistics, John held the position of Senior Vice President & GM at Yusen Logistics (Americas), Inc. from March 2012 to May 2015.

John served as the Vice President at Performance Team from 2010 to 2012.

John has also worked in leadership roles at APL Logistics as the Vice President, Contract Logistics-Americas from 2007 to 2010, and as the Managing Director from 2001 to 2007.

Before joining APL Logistics, they were the Group General Manager at GATX Logistics from 1996 to 2001.

John began their career at CEVA Logistics as the District Manager/Project Manager from 1989 to 1996.

John Hurst has an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. John also holds a B.A. in Material and Logistics Management from Michigan State University. Additionally, they attended Muskingum University and Bethel Park High School, but no specific degrees or fields of study were provided for these institutions.
