José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez has a diverse work experience in the field of project management. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez began their career as a Jefe de TI at Outsource/Agil de El Salvador S.A. de C.V., where they coordinated and supervised IT acquisitions and managed a team. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez then worked as a Líder de Control de Calidad QA/Project Manager/Auditor TI at Banco Azul El Salvador, where they verified process compliance and supervised project stages.

After that, José joined Banco G&T Continental de El Salvador as a Project Manager/Program Manager/PMI. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez managed projects using PMP, PMI, and Scrum methodologies and oversaw system development for the bank and brokerage. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez also controlled and monitored process flow.

José later worked at Banco Agrícola El Salvador as a Scrum Master TI/Senior Project Manager TI, where they managed digital transformation projects and advised the team on self-organization. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez then joined Telefónica as an Analytics Consultant Business/Project Manager, where they managed business intelligence information flow and created tools such as databases and dashboards.

José's next role was at BAC Credomatic, where they served as a Scrum Master for a digital transformation project. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez administered team members and ensured compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and technology indicators.

Currently, José works as an IT Project Manager at C&W Business. In this role, they lead and directs implementation projects for B2B clients within the regional project office. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez controls resources to meet client requirements in terms of scope, budget, time, and quality, while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Throughout their career, José has demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, team leadership, process control, and technology implementations.

José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez, a Project Manager with PMP and Scrum Master certifications, has an extensive education history. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Bancaria from the Universidad Francisco Gavidia, graduating in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatic Systems Engineering with a focus on Database at the Universidad de El Salvador from 2003 to 2010.

In 2015, José pursued further specialization in project management by completing a Diploma in Project Management at the Universidad Francisco Gavidia. The following year, they attended the Universidad Don Bosco and obtained a Diploma in ITIL Services, focusing on IT service management.

José further enhanced their project management skills in 2016 by completing a Diploma in Project Administration from the Universidad Don Bosco. In 2018 and 2019, they pursued a diploma in English at the Centro Cultural Salvadoreño Americano, further expanding their communication abilities.

Continuing their education in the field of information technology, José completed a Diploma in Systems Audit at the Universidad Don Bosco in 2019, specializing in auditing computer systems.

In addition to their academic achievements, José has obtained several certifications to validate their expertise. José Antonio Rivera Rodríguez holds a Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC) from CertiProf, obtained in July 2022, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in December 2020. José is also a member of the Project Management Institute since March 2020.

Furthermore, José has earned the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf in August 2019 and the Scrum Fundamentals Certified designation in April 2018. Lastly, they obtained the C1 level certification in English from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in June 2019.
