Irene Marnell, CPSM, MPS-SC, CTL, CPCM, currently serves as Senior Manager of Procurement at CVS Health since April 2024. Previously, Irene held positions at Blue Cross NC in IT Category Management, and at Syngenta as R&D lead for Global IT Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management. Irene's career includes faculty experience at North Carolina State University's Poole College of Management, and consulting roles at Shire Pharmaceuticals, where significant cost savings were achieved through strategic sourcing. Irene also held leadership roles in strategic sourcing at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and IT Supplier Relationship Management at AmerisourceBergen, along with contributions to Pfizer and Lucent Technologies in IT sourcing and contracting. Irene earned an MS in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from Penn State University, and a BA in Education and Art from Marshall University.
