Alastair Douglas serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Black Stream Technologies since September 2022 and works as a Perl Developer at CV-Library from July 2022. Alastair's previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at 123-reg from July 2019 to June 2022 and at OpusVL from September 2014 to July 2019, where Alastair achieved senior status and took on lead developer responsibilities, focusing on modernizing legacy codebases. Additional positions include brief contract work at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club in summer 2014, and significant roles at Propeller Digital, WCN Intelligent Talent Acquisition Suite, and LOVEFiLM, where Alastair built expertise in Perl and related technologies. Alastair holds a 2:1 Hons degree in Artificial Intelligence from The Manchester Metropolitan University, completed in 2005.
