Composites Engineering Intern at Cutting Dynamics

Mutasem Al-Muhtaseb is currently a Composites Engineering Intern at Re:Build Cutting Dynamics, where responsibilities include managing R&D phases of a composite battery enclosure, leading trials on a novel composite flex hose for space applications, and designing tools using SOLIDWORKS. Alongside this internship, Mutasem serves as a Commodities Project Lead and Commodity Quantitative Analyst at Boiler Quant Finance Group, focusing on developing MATLAB and Python code for agricultural commodity price projections. Mutasem also contributes as an Ambassador at Purdue University School of Materials Engineering and previously worked as a Side Aerodynamics Engineer for Northwestern Formula Racing, where engineering sidepods and airfoils was essential. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Purdue University and prior studies at Northwestern University and Avon Lake High School.
