Brad is an award-winning filmmaker who has been making documentaries since 1998 and founded 371 Productions in 2003. He’s won two Duponts: one for the 2016 Al Jazeera America series Hard Earned (produced with Kartemquin Films) and another for his 2001 film Ghosts of Attica (produced with Lumiere Productions). He has been nominated for a News and Doc Emmy for his film As Goes Janesville and was nominated for a Peabody for his radio series about gun violence, Precious Lives. Brad is the founder of docUWM, a documentary program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a member of the Milwaukee Filmmaker Alliance leadership council.
