Mian Shah Zeb has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Mian began as an Associate Software Engineer at Nextbridge Pvt. Ltd, where they worked on multiple in-house projects related to human resource management and project management using technologies such as PHP, YII, Zend, MySQL, Bootstrap, Java Script, Jquery, and HTML. In 2014, they became an Android Developer at SatsumaDroid, developing small to medium android applications published on Google Play Store. In 2015, they worked as a Thesis Worker at Airbus Defence and Space Oy, researching and collecting list of tools, libraries and methods to create SW that is reusable in multiple application frameworks/operating systems, making selection of tools, libraries and methods to use, writing instructions/coding rules to make reusable SW, and specifying and implementing simple demo SW. In 2016, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Sweetlakes Oy, where they worked on implementing a REST API for a mobile payment app for Android and IOS, using Loopback. JS. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Software Developer at Weoptit Oy, and currently they are a Back-end Developer at Custobar.

Mian Shah Zeb completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Software Engineering from the North West Frontier Province University of Engineering and Technology between 2008 and 2012. Mian then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Web Intelligence and Services Engineering from the University of Jyvaskyla, which they completed in 2020.
