Fola Ogungbemi, PhD, serves as a Senior Expert in Product Compliance at Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG since September 2022, focusing on regulatory strategies for industrial chemicals under REACH and CLP regulations, as well as developing alternative testing methodologies. In addition to this role, Fola is an Entertainment Strategist and DJ at J-Eclipse Entertainment Concept since May 2014, performing at various international events. Previous experience includes a position as a Regulatory Consultant at Ramboll, where Fola conducted environmental risk assessments, and a PhD research position at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, specializing in neurotoxic effects in aquatic environments. Fola has also held research and assistant roles at Eurofins MITOX Group, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, University of Koblenz and Landau, and University of Ibadan.
