Alan Gardner has been working in the IT industry for over 30 years. From 1986 to 1990, they worked as a Data Processor for the US Navy. From 1990 to 1996, they were the Director of Technology and Telecommunications for the U.S. Courts Probation and Pretrial Services. In 1996, they became the Owner of Current Technologies CLC, and has since been the Chief Executive Officer of the Current Technologies Computer Learning Center. Alan is one of the most highly rated and experienced technical instructors in the United States, with 28 years of training experience with Cisco (3 X CCIE), Microsoft, Security, and Novell.

Alan Gardner has an extensive education history. Alan attended Calumet College of Saint Joseph from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a B.S. in Management Information Systems in the field of Information Technology. Alan then attended Capella University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Master in Information Security in the field of Information Technology. Alan is currently attending Current Technologies CLC since 1995. In addition to their educational background, Alan Gardner holds four certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 CENTRAL FLORIDA CHAPTER obtained in May 2004, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) from Microsoft obtained in January 1991, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft obtained in September 2019, and CCIE from Cisco.
