Tom Solomon has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and marketing industries. Tom started their career as a Marketing Analyst at 3M Company in 1996, followed by a role as a Senior Marketing Associate at Eli Lilly and Company in 1999. In 2003, Tom joined Amylin Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Marketing and Brand Leader for the SYMLIN brand, where they had full P&L responsibility and led a cross-functional team. Tom stayed with Amylin Pharmaceuticals for a decade before moving to Trius Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Marketing for a short period in 2013. Tom then worked as the Vice President of Marketing at AltheaDx from 2014 to 2016, overseeing all strategic marketing activities. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Alliance Management and International Marketing at Currax Pharmaceuticals, where they are responsible for managing global alliance relationships, market development, and commercialization strategies for the flagship obesity treatment brand Contrave.
