Renato Athaydes has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Renato began their career as an Electronics Technician at Tyco Electronics, where they maintained machinery and developed new equipment. This role sparked their passion for programming, as they programmed PLCs and microprocessors. Renato then worked as a Maintenance Technician at Alcan, where they performed preventative and breakdown maintenance and modified PLC programs to improve process quality and safety.

Renato transitioned into software development, starting as a Summer Work Experience (Programming) at DSTO, where they worked on radar-simulation software. Renato then worked as a Technical Programmer at Centrelink, gaining experience in developing reliable software that had a significant impact on people's lives. Renato further honed their programming skills as a Software Developer at Intelligent Software Development, where they worked on a web application for the SimulAIt software.

Renato continued to progress in their software development career, working as a Senior Software Developer at alaTest, where they handled large amounts of data and participated in refactoring projects. Renato then joined Twobo Technologies as a Software Developer, specializing in API security and helping design and implement the Curity Identity Server.

Renato joined iZettle as a Software Developer, working on critical services and coordinating changes across distributed teams. Most recently, they are currently employed at Curity as the Chief Engineer, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in software engineering. Overall, Renato's work experience highlights their versatility and proficiency in various programming languages and tools, as well as their ability to deliver quality code within deadlines and oversee complex projects.

Renato Athaydes pursued their education in several fields of study. In 1998, they attended Jobs in São Paulo, where they obtained a degree in Mechatronics as a Technologist. In 2003, Renato specialized in Industrial Automation at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they studied Business Administration and earned an Advanced Diploma from the Sydney School of Business and Technology. Renato then shifted their focus towards Computer Science and Mathematics. Renato completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in these subjects at Flinders University from 2008 to 2011. Alongside, in 2011, they briefly attended the University of Adelaide to pursue Honours in Computer Science, but their degree remained incomplete.
