Randy Michel has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Randy started their career as an IT System Support at Plaza Construction in 2012, where they managed conference mediums, maintained and configured VMware servers, and provided technical assistance to 500+ users. Randy then worked as an IT Consultant and Desktop Imaging Specialist at New York Life Insurance Company, where they conducted software audits, built and maintained corporate desktop/laptop OS images, and offered Tier 3 support for application deployment. Randy also served as a Desktop Support Admin at Plaza Auto Mall, maintaining servers, repairing and deploying printers, and assisting remote users. At AirFastTickets, they had roles as an IT Manager and IT Support Engineer, where they handled Windows server planning, migrations, and deployment, managed networks and users, and provided technical support. Later, they worked as an IT System Administrator at Ullink, managing LAN security, deploying tickets, managing user accounts and security, and maintaining IT hardware inventory. Currently, Randy is the Information Technology Operations Manager at Curinos, where they play a senior role in supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, managing user laptops and accounts, and mentoring junior helpdesk staff.

Randy Michel's education history begins with their enrollment at George Westinghouse High School from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Regents Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Following that, they attended Rescare Vocational Training School in 2010 and 2011, where they received training in A+ and Linux+ CompTIA certifications, Network+ Training, Information Technology, and Computer Science.

In 2011, Randy enrolled at CUNY New York City College of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Randy completed their studies in 2015 and graduated with a BS degree.

Throughout their educational journey, Randy obtained various additional certifications. In 2010, they received the CompTIA A (2009 edition) certification and the CompTIA Linux certification.
