Margot De Villiers has a long and varied work experience. Margot began their career in 2006 as a Lead Preschool Teacher at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, where they created and executed educational and age-appropriate daily lesson plans and maintained a safe and healthy learning environment. In 2008, they took on the role of Account Executive at Diversified Global Graphics Group, where they managed the financial, commercial, and pharmaceutical printing needs of 10 corporate clients and earned the "Rookie Sales Person of the Month" award. In 2009, they became a Curriculum Specialist at Curriculum Technologies, Inc., administering and evaluating pre-literacy and math tests to assess children's kindergarten readiness. From 2010 to 2018, they worked as a Personal Assistant at Tina Jacobsen, providing day-to-day and after hours support to senior executive, as well as personalized care for their family of 4. In 2018, they were appointed Head Of Customer Support at Curie.

Margot De Villiers attended Torrey Pines High School from 1998 to 2002, and then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University between 2002 and 2006.
