Damien Filippini is a Senior Research Scientist I at AMRI, with a career in pharmaceutical research starting in October 2014, focusing on the preparation and delivery of novel products for biological evaluation. Concurrently, since June 2013, Damien has worked as a Research Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, synthesizing and analyzing key compounds for new medicinal chemistry endeavors. Previous positions include Research Scientist at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, developing functionalized macromolecules, and an early-stage researcher (PhD) at the ENSM research laboratory, where the focus was on anticancer organic compounds. Additional experience includes roles at sanofi-aventis and GlaxoSmithKline, engaging in organic synthesis within medicinal chemistry, as well as a doctoral assistant in practical courses at ENSCM. Damien holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier, complemented by a deep foundational background in chemistry from various educational institutions.
