Cindy Harricharan's work experience includes various roles in the medical laboratory and healthcare industry. Cindy started their career as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Cornerstone Medical Services Limited in 2011. Cindy then moved on to work at the North Central Regional Health Authority, where they performed diagnostic tests and analyzed bodily fluids for over 700 patients daily. In 2015, they joined the Tobago Regional Health Authority as a Senior Medical Laboratory Technician, where they supervised and managed core departments and ensured high-quality and timely test results. Cindy also took on the role of Laboratory Manager for a brief period, overseeing a team of 45 employees and coordinating all laboratory functions.
In 2018, Cindy co-founded and managed a coffee shop called Coffee Me Coffee Shop, where they developed operational initiatives, conducted market research, and managed a staff of five members. Cindy then transitioned to the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, where they coordinated laboratory sessions, provided guidance to students, and maintained health and safety standards.
