Scott Sharpton has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Scott began their career as an Account Executive at TransFirst in 2014, where they focused on credit card processing and consistently met sales goals. In 2015, they joined ServiceSource as a Sales Representative, delivering enterprise software products to the Southeast commercial business segment. Scott also worked with companies like Cisco and Blackboard in sales roles during this time.
In 2018, Scott joined Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) as a Sales Representative, where they supported songwriters, composers, and publishers in getting paid for their work. Scott also facilitated blanket music licenses for businesses and organizations that played music publicly.
In 2020, Scott joined AdhereHealth, LLC as a Sales Development Representative, responsible for recruiting, training, and optimizing a team of sales development representatives. Scott conducted outreach activities, qualified leads, and refined the sales pitch and playbook to achieve optimum results. Scott achieved 100% of the Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) target in 2021 and 85% of the Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) target. Scott was later promoted to the role of Sales Development Manager, where they continued to excel in generating pipeline for the sales team and improving overall efficiency.
Most recently, in 2023, Scott joined Curant Health as a Business Account Manager, where they are currently working.
Scott Sharpton earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
