Christian Battley is a Senior Mechanical Critical Systems Engineer at Cundall, where responsibilities include managing the mechanical package for a hyperscale data centre during the construction stage, addressing mechanical RFIs, and conducting site visits. Prior to this, Christian worked at PM Group as a Building Services Engineer, focusing on pharmaceutical HVAC design and delivering a robust HVAC design strategy for hyperscale data centres. Christian began the career as a Graduate Building Services Engineer, contributing to multiple projects in hyperscale data centre master-planning. An early experience as a Data Analyst Intern at Hoare Lea involved analyzing energy usage data and identifying inefficiencies in mechanical systems. Christian holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University and A-level qualifications from King Edward VI School Stratford-upon-Avon.
