Carmen Villanueva has a diverse professional background, currently serving as the Academic Coordinator and Volunteer Host Family for Cultural Homestay International since January 2003, focusing on promoting international understanding through exchange programs. Prior to this role, Carmen held the position of President on the Board of Directors at Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation from May 2008 to July 2013, where efforts centered on increasing community support for essential educational programs. Carmen's volunteer experience includes serving as an advocate for young mothers with Special Delivery from June 2000 to May 2006. Earlier professional roles featured risk management as a Senior Associate at Aon Consulting and courtroom management as a Clerk for the City of Seattle. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Seattle University and graduated from Waianae High School in Hawaii.
