Irina S. has over 14 years of experience in the field of translational research. Irina began their career in 2007 as a Postdoc at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT. Irina then moved to Verastem in 2011, where they held the roles of Senior Scientist and Scientist II. In 2015, they joined EMD Serono, Inc. as an Associate Director and Principal Scientist. In 2018, they moved to Agenus, where they held the roles of Senior Director and Head of Biomarkers and Director and Head of Biomarker Development. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Cullinan Oncology as VP of Translational Research and Executive Director and Head of Translational Research.
Irina S. obtained their PhD in Cell Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned their MS in Biophysics from the Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University (Russian Federation) between 1994 and 2000.
