David Butler has considerable experience in the field of IT, starting with their role as a Systems Administrator at Equity in Finance Limited from December 2010 to February 2016. David then joined Waterlogic UK & IE where they held multiple positions, including IT Support Analyst from February 2016 to January 2019, Service Desk Engineer Team Leader from January 2019 to January 2021, and finally IT Infrastructure Engineer from January 2021 to November 2023. Their most recent role was as a Network & Security Lead at Culligan International, which began in November 2023.

David Butler attended Northicote School from 1998 to 2003, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study during this time. In terms of certifications, they obtained the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification from CompTIA in 2018 and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2022.
