Dr Patrick Aouad has extensive work experience in the medical field. Dr Patrick is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at [cu]health since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant Neurologist at North Shore Private Hospital starting from February 2017. Dr Patrick was also a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at the same hospital from March 2022.

Dr Patrick Aouad completed their education in a sequential manner. Dr Patrick earned their Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science (neuroscience) from the University of Sydney, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Following this, they attended The Australian National University from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Continuing their academic pursuits, Dr Aouad pursued a Master's Degree in Medicine (Neurology/stroke) at The Australian National University from 2010 to 2013.
In addition to their extensive educational background, Dr Aouad also obtained certifications to supplement their medical expertise. Dr Patrick completed the Good Clinical Practice (Clinical Trials) certification from QuintilesIMS in March 2016. Furthermore, Dr Aouad achieved the FRACP certification in Neurology, specifically the Adult Division, from The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
