Brett partners with individuals and organizations to co-create solutions in their quest to become more efficient and effective operators.
Brett believes a human-centered design approach to be the most productive way to marry people, process, and technology to create value for all stakeholders. His knack for holistic understanding and strategy combined with an engineer’s analytical framework can help find and exploit opportunities for continuous improvement.
Brett brings nearly two decades of a wide array of cross-functional experience spanning multiple industries. He worked in custom plastics molding and ERP implementation delivery for a combined 13 years, working in all areas of operations including (but not limited to) quality, product design, project engineering, sales & quoting, logistics, procurement, and ERP management. He achieved an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship and believes business can be a force for good in the world. To that end, he co-founded a small social enterprise focused on improving income-generating energy access in rural East Africa. Brett is as comfortable on a manufacturing floor as in a board room, and employs an empathy-driven, co-creative approach to problem diagnosis, analysis, and solution development.
Brett joined Cuesta to bring a people-centric, entrepreneurial viewpoint to technological problems, as well as pursue technological solutions to worthy problems.
Brett lives in Denver, CO with his wife, son, two dogs and a cat. Spare time is filled with lots of vacuuming, dad jokes, all the outdoor fun Colorado offers, and let’s not fail to mention its top-notch microbrewery scene.
