Joe Marquez is the Director of Academic Innovation at Cue. Joe was previously a K-12 Education Strategist at CDW•G from April 2018 to July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Google. Before that, they were the Communications Chair at CVCUE from June 2012 to May 2018. Joe began their career as an Instructional Technology Specialist at Clovis Unified School District from November 2008 to April 2018.

Joe Marquez has a California State Teaching Credential in Single Subject from California State University, Fresno. Joe also has a Master of Science (MS) in Educational/Instructional Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University. Their Bachelor of Science (BS) is in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from California State University, Fresno. Joe Marquez is also certified from the AVID Center as a Staff Developer and in Digital Teaching and Learning. In addition, they are certified from EDpuzzle, Inc. as an EdPuzzle Trainer/Coach, from Apple as an Apple Teacher with Swift Playground, from Flipgrid as a Flipgrid Ambassador, from Nearpod as a Nearpod PioNear team member, and from Common Sense Media as a Common Sense Media Certified Educator. Joe is also on the Formative (goformative.com) Dream Team Member and Nearpod Trainer. Lastly, they are on the Zaption Pioneer Team Member.
