Lydia Parr has an extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Lydia started their career as an Accountant at Curtis McLean in February 2013 and worked there until January 2014. Following that, they joined Deloitte New Zealand as a Consultant in February 2014 and worked there until June 2015. Lydia then moved on to Deloitte Private New Zealand, where they served as a Senior Consultant from June 2015 to June 2017 and later as a Manager from June 2017 to April 2018. Most recently, Lydia has been working at Cubitts since October 2018, initially as a Finance Manager and then progressing to Head Of Finance in October 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Director at Cubitts, starting from December 2022.

Lydia Parr attended the University of Otago from 2009 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting and Finance.
